Brazil v Mexico on 17/06/14!

Soccer Showcase are excited to watch Brazil in action against Mexico. The Brazilians won the opening game of the tournament, they showed they have skill as-well as class. With the home support behind Brazil, we think the Brazilians will win this game, but the Mexicans will not go down without a fight. This game will be a cracker. 

The Dutch destroy the Spanish 5-1. Watch the video to see all the great goals. Holland must be favorites after beating the current world champions.

Excellent Course, But Not Easy!!

At the age of 23, the Soccer Showcase Elite Training Academy was my last chance of becoming a professional footballer (I don’t believe the course takes applicants over 23) and I’m pleased to say that worked out!

The Academy is fantastic. They owners claim that they provide 5-star training facilities and they certainly do, you are also given all the training kit you need throughout the week, made by Nike!

This academy is run by ex-professional footballers with the aim of getting you noticed by professional clubs – it is not like any other summer soccer school you may have attended. If you’re good enough this course is worth every penny, but if you’re slightly below par or your fitness is not up to it you will probably struggle. Training is conducted at pro level and is extremely difficult (but enjoyable). The Showcase Event at the end of the week is also hard and nerve-racking, but your training throughout the week gets you well prepared.

Attending the academy is the best thing I've ever done.

A Brilliant Experience

I attended the Soccer Showcase Elite Training Academy in 2013 and absolutely loved every minute of it.

You get to work with brilliant FA-qualified coaches throughout the week and make some great friends in the process.

Pros:

• Coaching – Joe McLaughlin and Steve Butler are both experienced ex-pros.
• Free kits – you get given Nike training gear every day. You will need your own boots.
• Rooms – basic, but fresh towels daily.
• Facilities – five-star quality. Pitches were perfect and changing room facilities are Premier League standard.
• Opportunities – end of week games were attended by scouts are coaches from pro clubs.

Cons:

• Applications are reviewed, so you’ll need to be good enough to attend.
• Training is carried out at professional standard so you’ll need above average fitness.

This course does not guarantee that you will become a Premier League footballer, but I believe it’s as close as you’ll come to earning a contract with a professional club.
